History of Beard Transplantation
The patient has low density and areas where facial hair does not grow at all. We can see that his cheeks need to be restored through hair implantation. In this patient's case, an average of 3,500 to 3,800 grafts are recommended.
This is a process that we carry out in a single day session.
Timeline
Beard design
As can be seen in these photos, the design for the implant is intended to be very natural. Irregularities are maintained when designing the line. The chin and mustache area are joined with the cheeks.
After the Procedure
The minimally invasive DHI technique allows patients to recover quickly. One day after the procedure, the effects of the implantation begin to disappear.
3 months later
The patient is beginning to overcome the shock phase, a process in which the implanted hair falls out irregularly as part of the natural follicle process. The implanted areas appear to have more hair, but it is not yet dense enough.
10 months later
A radical change in all our patients can be seen after the sixth month. In this case, shown in the photograph, the patient is in their tenth month of progress, considered to be approximately 80% of the final evolution of the procedure.
