There is a significant lack of hair on the crown. A moderately dense band of hair extending across the top separates the two areas of hair loss between the temporal front and the crown. The bald spot at the vertex is becoming prominent, but there is still a solid band of hair in the scalp region separating the frontal hairline from the vertex.
