Transplant Story #2
The patient Jorge Fernández came to our clinic in June 2018, concerned about the advanced hair loss he had been suffering from since he was very young.
After an evaluation with our computerized medical system (HairSys), it was determined that in this case the patient had several areas of androgenic alopecia, with a Norwood scale of 4.
Fortunately, the patient's donor site was in good condition, as no previous procedures had been performed there.
The number of hairs to be implanted to cover the entire area was estimated at 7,000, but during the procedure, 9,337 were extracted, thus ensuring the best possible density.
This procedure was carried out over two days of sessions.

Timeline
Before
The number of hairs to be implanted to cover the entire area was estimated at 7,000, but during the procedure, 9,337 were extracted, thus ensuring the best possible density.
This procedure was carried out over two days of sessions.
2 Months
After two months, the patient is in the middle of what is known as the shock phase. During this phase, all of the implanted hair falls out irregularly due to a natural process of the hair follicle.
2 Months
This stage is usually seen during the first 4 months after the procedure.
6 Months
Four months after the procedure, the shock phase has ended and hair begins to grow normally. At this stage, growth is at 50%.
6 Months
As we can see in the photographs, there is greater coverage of the areas that were implanted. From this period onwards, the patient may experience greater density over time.
8 Months
Seven months later, the patient has already undergone a radical change, with only 70% of the procedure completed. Our advanced DHI technique allows us to deliver the best results with a 100% natural look and up to 97% effectiveness in the implanted hair.
Final Result
Another benefit of our implantation technique is that it leaves no marks or scars, meaning that it is impossible to tell that the patient has undergone any type of hair restoration procedure.
